Gadget Series – No. 7
Here’s no. 7 in our little gadgets series. This is really not necessary, some gadgets just aren’t 😎 But, it looks good and has a function, when the GPS doesn’t show it – telling actual direction. It’s a compass from Silva, made for boats but also useful in a camper.

Gadget Series – No. 6
In our little camper gadget series, here’s then no. 6. After some less funny experiences in wet grass, in mud, on beaches and in snow, we decided to change from standard camper wheels to the BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 3PMSF. THAT made a huge difference on most surfaces. We have now driven more than 40.000 kilometers and there’s still a lot of rubber…

Gadget Series – No. 5
Here’s no. 5 in our little gadgets series, it might not look like a lot, but to us it’s very practical and comes handy. A metal plate with glasses where the lids are magnetic. We have different spices in them. And it looks cool, too. None of them ever fell off. Found them on Amazon.de. Another thumbs up from us. 👍

Gadget Series – No. 4
Here’s no. 4 in our little gadgets series. It’s a combination of hooks from @styyl.de and a lamp from @nitecore_outdoor_electronics. The lamp, Nitecore LR40, is rechargeable and dimmable, has 4 different light modes, and can even be used as a (small) powerbank. The hook on the door handle is removable and great for bath towels and tea towels. The one in the shower is attached by strong tape.…

Gadget Series – No. 3
In our little camper gadget series, here’s no. 3. In the original fresh water tank, there was, together with the original display, a huge level of uncertainty of the filling level. When it showed fx 75 %, it could in reality be anything from about 62 % to 88 % (of 120 liters). Our Votronic level measure sticks, and display, shows in increments of 10…

Gadget Series – No. 2
In our little camper gadget series, here’s no. 2. We often use levelers, when the pitch is too uneven. It’s for comfort, better sleep and the fridge works better in level position. The first set, from a different brand, broke after about two years. THIS set, Quattro 3 Level, from Milenco has a capacity of 1.500 kg per wheel. The other reason for choosing those,…

Gadget Series – No. 1
We make a little camper gadget series, here’s no. 1. Bilstein B6 Camper Advanced suspension. It was a complete game changer when we exchanged the suspension, it can hardly be described. Bumps, uneven roads, German highways, we feel a big difference. A big thumbs up from us.

MAASTRICHT – a lively old town in the Netherlands
MAASTRICHT, the wellknown Dutch city. After our holiday in Belgium (more about that later), we made a 2-day stopover here. Maastricht, divided in two by the wide river Maas, is an extremely old city. In “newer” times, the Romans built the first bridge over the river, 2.000 years ago. The bridge, however, collapsed in 1275 and was replaced by the Sint Servaasbrug (St. Servatius Bridge)…

Nufenen mountain pass in Switzerland, 2.478 m.a.s.l.
Nufenen Pass in Switzerland is the highest mountain pass within the borders of the country. 2.478 meters above sea level. This is already high enough to feel the relative lack of air you breathe, but, still ok. When we arrived in the camper, in bright sunshine and almost no wind, we forgot all about thin air. The views in all directions are absolutely stunning and…
